You are the artisans in charge of decorating the palace lake with floating lanterns and lighting up the sky with fireworks.
Roll the lantern dice and assign one to each player to complete their game sheet. Will you choose to mark the Pavilions to get gifts from the emperor and perform bonus actions? Or the Pontoons and increase your fully pencilled-in areas to place Fireworks tiles for victory points? Or would you consider surrounding the Ships for more points at the end of the game?
The right balance of choices will allow you to create the most effective combinations. The player with the most honor points, the one who makes the best impression on the emperor, wins the game!
